Looked out my east facing bedroom window.
saw sunny skies, 32 degrees, flag is flapping in the stiff breeze

Got dressed for a nice ride, even though the salt has not been washed off the road by rain the Valkyrie needs a ride

Stopped to drink some hot water and lemon before heading down to where the Valk is parked in the garage

Open the garage door and WTF  ITS SNOWING NOW

Walked up the driveway to the street so I could look west and son of a gun the sky is dark as far west as I can see

Dagnabit  Maybe later when I get back from my chores at Ma's
and no more salt spread out I will get a ride in.

Spring?  Yeah right

Oss,

Yeah, I hate it when that happens, too! Patience, counselor, patience... You did the right thing, though... you logged on here where much empathy is to be found!!! Good luck for later in the day... As for this gypsy, I think I'll just load up and head out... again...

Know what your feeling, We got 10" of blowing wet snow Yesterday, Main roads around here were closed for a while, Some were one lane and blocked by stranded vehicles. Seems IDOT already laid off all the snowbirds and were short handed for the storm. Didn't need to go anywhere so It didn't bother me too much. I figure a week and I will be in the wind. The little rodent was correct, cooldude

Dagnabit!  Wow, I haven't heard that one since my Dad passed many years ago.  Much better than the popular four letter verb, noun, adjective, etc.   Good'un, Evan

Hopefully, in two weeks the Miata comes out of storage and I'll be back in the wind. First thing, a change to UHP All Season tires. Gotten mighty tired of the UHP summer tires losing their grip in chilly weather.

Well, that sucks! Worst time of year.... checking the weather every day to see if Spring is really here and you can actually plan to get out for a ride.  After two great weeks here, I see that darn white stuff creeping it's way down the mountains again this AM as I head out to my soccer game. I like the looks of it.... up there!!!
Hope you get a chance to get out cooldude

Yah, saw the snow coming and once it hit dubuque IA it fizzled out along the Mississippi River and stayed EAST and SOUTH of pretty much all of WI an hour or so away is all, but still too cold in 30s and low 40s to get 2 wheels going again.  I usually have the cycles out last week of March but the forecast does not look good not into the 50s either until who knows when in hoping early April.

Have seen a few die hards on cycles past few weeks but bundled up like an eskimo in the upper 30s and low 40s is not my cup of tea.  Once it hits low 50s for highs though even if only 30s at night, then game on!  Was hoping for next weekend but does not look promising but like said,  give it a day and the forecasters will change their minds again right?

Got out for an hour ride along the Hudson

This is from the kayak launch area across the road from Camp Smith

I like the way the LED fog lights throw a totally different kind of light
Hopefully it makes me more visible
My main lights were on low beam Silverstars about 4 yrs old now
