I responded to Nick's original post about the Friday ride, and mentioned the fact that I was going to the range to shoot some guns that I had just purchased. The post was deleted by management. Someone has a much too high opinion of himself and his value to society, and soes not believe in the 1st Amendment.

Bronxboy

I never seen it, so it must have been deleted quick, I am surprised as most here are Gun loving Motorcycle riding Patriots?

Flrider

I did not know that comment was against the rules, seems it would be ok.

Maybe if you would have said that you were riding your Valk to the range  :)

I responded to Nick's post and also did not see your post, it must have raised a red flag right away.

O-F, are you sure you didn't just not get it posted properly?

That kind of post has never been verboten in the past (and doubt it is now).

I've typed up posts and managed to flub the posting process a number of times, esp when the board lapses into the slow or shut down mode while I'm typing, or if I go back and forth editing it.

The only way to ever be sure your post got posted successfully, after hitting the button, is to go back to the thread and scroll down and see it is there.

I just checked my previous posts, and the post in question is not there. It appears that I must have had a Brain Fart, and the post didn't get posted properly, as Jess suggested. Actually, it must have been a double Brain Fart, because I was sure that I had checked that thread later that evening, and the post was there. As I said, it doesn't show up in my previous posts. Apologies to whomever I accused of deleting that post.

Or look at your own recently or,   "last posts of this person" I had a post I made recently and it either never made it or disappeared but is clearly in  "last posts of this person".  It had to be a glitch as the statement was innocent fluff.

Pappy!

Also think it was a glitch. We are always talking about guns on here.

I've done that myself a few times. Will click on "preview" which is always a good idea 'cuz it gives you a chance to check your spelling(major problem on the board), and to make sure what you typed is what you're trying to say. Sometimes during the editing of my message I'll jump off that screen and suddenly realize I forgot to "post."

I doubt it was pulled by admin.
I have had several posts not show up on the board, never could figure it out.

I searched through the last several days of the Moderation Log and found no record of such a post being deleted by a moderator. I honestly  can't remember the last time a post has been deleted from the Florida board.
