Took both the beginner and advanced MSF courses there.
The route Starts and ends at Yonkers Raceway and then went up the goat trail and perkins drive in Harriman Park
Thanks for the video

How heavy is that particular model of HD they're using?  I've watched talented riders horse those bikes around with relative ease, wondering how they compare to the Valk in weight. I know my Valk is much heavier than any HD I had 50-60 yrs. ago, I could toss that thing around like a trail bike in comparison.

Was told by an M/C officer who rides an H-D for work and owns a Valkyrie that the H-D Road Kings used on the job definitely handles better.  Shorter wheelbase was the main reason provided.

BTW, I would like to take this class.

Yes, the Road Kings wheel base is four inches shorter than our 1500 Valkyries.  I notice that every time I'm backing into a parking space.

I tried to take the local advanced rider training class two years ago, but they could not fill the class...

Not only that, the top Hog riding cops that ace those real tight courses, cut off the handlebar stops on their bikes so they can turn really short corners/curves/loops.  Still great riders.  I doubt that is done on those basic cop rider course bikes.

When I had to take a USAF version of MSF on my CB750 with hard bags and Vetter fairing, I kept hitting some cones.  They said, turn tighter.  I got off, turned it to the lock, and pushed it, right into some cones (it could not turn any tighter).  It was actually the saddlebags that were hitting the cones.  So they changed the rules for me.... saddlebags didn't count.

Years later, many of these courses now use little tiny cones, which are much better than the big ones which get caught on things and can drag you down.
