Yes I can figure this out as I have changed fender rails before but I have never taken out the two bolts on each side that take the sissy bar tab off form the rails.   So, can I just drop the back part of the fender and reach in there or what is the most efficient way to remove the sissy bar tabs from the fender rails? Just wondering before I get into this.

Re. the back part of the fender...no! Do one side at a time and leave the opposite side tight, remove both bolts holding the fender rail in place, you should then be able to loosen the upper shock bolt enough to swing it up to remove the inside bolts for the sissy bar. Takes a rather thin wrench to get in behind the shock but is doable. Just loosen, don't remove, careful to not scratch the fender when raising and lowering the rail. When done with one side, snug it down so the fender doesn't move and do the other side.

Ok.   I guess I will find a spot where I have a little more time to start and finish with saddle bags and all.  Still long hours at work hindering progress.

Got her done.  Not to bad but Honda sure could have made this removable step better than this.

Looks great.  :cooldude: :cooldude:

Valks look great as solo bikes, such a classic  and killer look.

So does this must mean that black hot rod will be the 2 up bike
