If it's flat, how does it rotate around the sun?
Very slowly About 67,000 mph.

My daughter (34 y/o) has been listening to some of those flat Earth idiots. They have figured out enough answers to the questions to convince people that already distrust the establishment. See that's what it's really about. The government is lying to us so anything opposite to what " the man" says becomes believable. So sad

... YouGov, a British market research firm, polled 8,215 adults in the United States to find out if they ever believed in the “flat Earth” movement. Only 66 percent of young millennials answered that they “always believe the world is round.” Science teachers across the U.S. will be shaking their heads after learning that nine percent of young adults answered that they have “always believed” the planet was flat. ... Just a few observations. Surveys and polls can be easily misinterpreted. How the questions are phrased can almost direct how they are answered. Most folks if asked about the "flat Earth" movement may not even know what that means. Additionally, when asked if they have always believed that the earth is round a truthful person would have to answer in the negative. I know when I was five I thought the Earth was flat. The title indicates that the thirty-four percent of millennials who believe the Earth is flat (if they do) also want to ban guns. Does anyone other than me see the ignorance in that assumption? British research firm questioning Americans? Really? Some of us are a bit too anxious to trumpet something that seems to support our own bias.

The Earth is actually a Cube. Flat on all six sides and when it rotates rapidly it looks like a sphere. The Cube Earth Theory. If the Earth was round you couldn't level anything.

Bill, don't get me wrong I relate very little to young people of today. But constantly talking about them in a disparaging way gets old. I have young workers that are GREAT, and I have young workers that leave a lot to be desired. I think if us "old men" were to be honest I'm sure we could think back and remember plenty of dumbasses in our day. There are plenty of young people out there that are willing and able to learn from us crotchety old men. Umm, yes, and no. I was trying NOT to remember being a dummy, but alas. I remember to much of it. Maybe later I'll forget, seems to be going that way. I have met a few youngster that have the desire to learn, but they are few and far between. In my line of work, residential construction, there are almost none that have the will or desire to work and learn. The carpentry shop teacher, at the local high school, said he had only one kid he would hire.

But it was also like that back in my day. I got the job cleaning up a meat dept. at 14 because everybody else wanted to be a stocker. Easier and cleaner. Everybody isn't cut out to be a butcher or a construction worker. But it's very satisfying when you find one that is. I have trained probably a dozen in my career that have made it. Probably 50 that didn't. Most satisfying part of my job has been teaching some that others have given up on. As long as they are willing to listen and try I won't quit on them. (Not saying you do or would)

It may be fortunate that YouTube wasn't around to record it.
