I keep seeing this commercial. I don’t know why, but it makes me smile each time. Maybe it’s just my twisted humor that likes to see other people’s misfortune.

Mildly humorous... If you like laughing at other's misfortunes, I've always gotten a chuckle out of this classic Volkswagen commercial:

A thing I hate about new movies and teevee is that you often see every gross or explicit detail.
When some cowboy rapes the dancehall lady on Gunsmoke, you know it happened, but
you didn't have to endure every excruciating detail. Humor, also, is improved (for me)
by allowing me to connect the dots in my imagination...

My imagined jello-kablooie is lots better than one they might have filmed...  cooldude

Funny Jeep Commercial. I think the Lincoln had the name Meat on the plate.

What I want to know is why of all my (and close neighbors) 6 80yo giant oak trees, the pair of morning doves sit on a branch 100 feet up directly over my car, and leak out corrosive bird poop on it.  (Moving the car from it's spot is not possible, given space and clearance issues)

I keep threatening them with execution, and they keep laughing at me.  There is no clean (or even possible) shot from inside the house, and since it's a crime, going outside is out of the question.

My accuracy with a wrist rocket is really no better than minute of barn door.  And those steel balls have to come down somewhere.  And they are out of range of the hose.

I'm reminded of The Green Mile, where Brutal says..... Grown men, outsmarted by a little mouse.

Why don't you just start feeding them?

No.  The spousal unit (when she still lived here) put out 10lbs of feed a day, and the amount of bird crap and squirrel damage and visiting possums and skunks and raccoons was out of hand for 20 years.  It's much better now, except those two guys.  They're not here every day or even week, but they keep coming back.  It's a conspiracy I tell you.

I just grease the pole I have the bird feeder hung on, lots of laughs watching them climb like crazy all the while slowly sliding down. My wife thinks I'm cruel and the grease should be wiped off. I hand her a rag, the grease stays.  Wink  It's also close enough to the kitchen window so I can open it and hit them with the sink sprayer through the screen. She doesn't like that either, says they need to eat. I remind her we have mature oak trees all throughout the neighborhood, they have a regular smorgasbord in the same tree they're nested in.
