Ok, I really tried to fix this, I give up... I went to my PM’s looking for an old message. They were all gone except for 1 from last week. Then I find a “prune messages “ button. It is set to delete messages after 14 days. WTF? If I did that I sure don’t remember, or know how I did it. OR know how to get rid of it. I want to keep messages till I delete them, not after a number of days. Anybody know how to change this setting? Again, I’m blaming this debacle on Meathead cause he recommended this IPad. Do you have it configured to e-mail you copies of your PM's? If so, any chance you still have those older emails?

I do have it configured to emails, but delete them and always saved the PM’s. I can’t figure how to get rid of the prune thing. Is it new? Or I’m a dunce...

I've never clicked (Or noticed, until now) the Prune Messages button on the PM page, and to be honest I kinda don't wanna click it now at all... I've got PM's going back to 2009 in there... =\ |

I've never clicked (Or noticed, until now) the Prune Messages button on the PM page, and to be honest I kinda don't wanna click it now at all... I've got PM's going back to 2009 in there... =\ I never paid attention to it either. I tiptoed in, and it looks like if you click on it it's automatically set to "prune" after 14 days. I hit the back button to escape. Craig, it looks like the only thing you could do is change the 14 to 999 days. I'm sure Willow would have a better solution. |

Normally I'm all over something technical like that, but the version of SMF we're running here is really old and kinda cantankerous, I don't wanna press my luck with that many old PM's at risk...  |
