Well... it only took me two days to change my throttle cable

... of course
I wasn't hurrying or anything. I make my friends laugh by asking them to imagine
me hurrying...
The throttle cable has zero binding now in my tests, and it doesn't flop out into
the wind anymore either, bonus! I'll ride the bike to work tomorrow
and see how it goes. There's a quick disconnect for the pressurized gas line
under the tank, unless I screwed up putting that back on I probably won't erupt
into a ball of flame...
Somehow
I screwed up the threads the threads on the fancy bolt that's
supposed to go here became boogered up. I ordered a few more of them,
there's a bunch like it on the bike... this regular bolt from my stash ought to
hold it until then...

I occurs to me that, on modern bikes, when you do maintenance, no matter
what it is, 50 or 60 percent of the work is similar to taking the dashboard off
your car
