https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/d/1997-honda-valkyrie-with-less/6563059846.htmlThis bike is in great condition and all fluids have been recently changed, it starts, runs, and rides just like it should. If you're not familiar with the bike, this was made in the USA and has the same 6-cylinder 1,500cc engine that was in the Honda Goldwing but with 6 individual carbs, one for each cylinder and puts out 100hp. Owned by a doctor in the Army, low miles are just due to lack of time to ride. Clean Ohio title (home state). Willing to consider reasonable offers, but only in-person - no negotiation over email. No trades. Thanks for looking.

Why is the tank repainted? And exhaust yellowing under passenger pegs?

might have 100,929 miles on it. I can't see the headers and pipes turning blue and yellow in under 1k miles. Unless they let it idle often for long periods of time.

$5,000 for a bone stock twenty year old bike? Not a deal worth singing about.

Looks fishy to me, but maybe true, nothing to make me jump here though. Not showroom room clean and obvious corrosion. Missing horns on the tank is strange and a bummer and the pipes with bluing. Pass

The tank was probably painted when the tank cleaner (rust remover/acid) overflowed and spoiled the paint. Several years ago I found a less that 2000 mile example and the tank was repainted for the reason in the preceding sentence.
