One more turn should do it!

Kent, Ohio

« on: April 19, 2018, 01:38:01 AM »

I brought the Valk home from storage the Saturday before Easter. It has sat in the garage since. Friday the 13th was gorgeous but I couldn't ride. I was able to ride Saturday the 14th, ran some errands and topped off the tank. Snowed yesterday(Tuesday). Rode to work Wednesday(first dry day in sometime), left the house it was 29*. The ride home  was 50*. Ran an errand and beat the rain by 15 mins. I am 55yo and I still get excited and feel better when I get to ride!

Undecided Bummer Pais. I feel the same,  angel therapy for me. I hope you get out for some rides. The weather here in the FL Pan-handle has been pretty good. Yesterday, I took a 200 mile ride to Tallahassee to see family then come back home. I stayed off I-10, concrete slab and used Hway 90 most of the way with little traffic. (2-lane) Maybe you'll be able to get to InZane the week off June 10th.  coolsmiley

wind therapy rocks !

Like you, it was freezing yesterday when I left for work but was in mid 50's at 6pm with a refreshing wind.  Rain all day again today.

It will only get better so hang in there

With global warming you should be riding more  Wink  but seriously it just stinks when you cant ride. I ride everyday and almost feel lost when I dont ride, spring is coming hold on.

So far this year has been more like 1816 than anything resembling a warming trend.

Lived in NE Ohio all my life. Nothing ever surprises me but, at times pi*^es me off! This would be one of those times.
Other hobbies have come and gone in my life but since my teen years. Motorcycling has stuck with me! Maybe more of a lifestyle rather then a hobby?
At 55 I am rather excited because, I am anxious for June to get here. Looking forward to my first IZ!

saw a few cycles coming home around 8 p.m. near dark out only 37 degrees out after the 6 inch snowfall just yesterday and icy roads in morning but most melted away near 50 today.  I still would not have chanced it first cycle ride of the year since shady spots on roads (lots around me) had water over them still and could be icy still.  Not worth the risk, but this weekend will be FINALLY!!!!! cooldude
