These people were made up to look old....really old. Too old to be hitting 300-400 yard drives. Watch the reaction of those around them that are watching. Both actors are long-drive champions.

I never played much myself, and not in 30 years.

What really appeals to me watching it, is the beauty of the courses, and the relative calm and quiet of the game.

Not counting the crowd cheering the occasional shot, the announcers speaking in quiet tones, the breezes blowing the trees, the players calmly walking the course.  It's just entirely different from most any other sporting event one can witness.  It's like sitting in front a fire, but a little more interesting.  Some of my best days in the lazy boy... watching the Masters.  (and if I fall asleep for awhile, I didn't miss any of the plot)

I live on a golf course, right at the 150 yd. marker of the par 5, 7th. When it's really busy, I often will get something to drink and go sit out back and watch the sights. The entertainment is free, just watching a newbie take a dozen practice swings then address the ball, take a hearty swing at it and send it ripping down the fairway all of 20 feet. They walk up to it and repeat it all over again. The amazing ones are the little kids. One day a week they have special access for parents and kids and I'm forever surprised at how good some of them are. Some little guys are no taller that their dad's driver, kinda funny when one will cuss after missing a shot and dad or mom will yell at them for it. The kid often will turn and say something like "well dad, you always say that." As for anything like the picture of the young gal with her own physical endowment plan....we have a few regulars in that category. Probably a good thing they aren't ballet dancers!  Roll Eyes
