I have had gator once in Florida. Taste was o.k. but not as good as turkey or chicken, sort of chewy like calamari. Maybe it was overcooked being deep fried, not sure?

Not sure that I'd want to eat Kangaroo. Gator tail is pretty good though. And there is something satisfying about eating something that is capable of eating you.

Roo?? I'm not likely to see one or a gator in central KY but, should that happen, I'll let you all know. Grilled, either one would be a different treat. But, one of you folks will have to skin that gator. Just ain't gonna go there..... Rams

You may not have wanted to, but if you ate any hamburger back in the 70's you likely did. The Aussies were putting it and horse meat in their "bull meat" that was exported here. Most ground beef back in the day was made from Australian bull meat because of the cost.

I am pretty sure that I ate camel when I was in Saudi Arabia. Dang stuff was the toughest thing that I have ever tried to chew. They told us that it was steak but it would've been easier to chew up your boots.
