If I go outside on a windy day they rattle. So, I have never even tried it. Maybe with the newest technology they don't do that anymore?

Unless there's "newest technology" in the last 3 years, when I got mine, they still "rattle" in the wind!

I've worn mine with my 3/4 helmet, which pretty well seals around my ears.
However my hearing loss is due to abuse in my younger years, not from old age, yet!

Just got mine. The Dr. said do not wear them while riding a Motorcycle. I put them in a special pouch that you get with the hearing aids.

I'd think you'd want earplugs (for wind protection) instead of wearing expensive hearing aids that could go missing (however unlikely).  I suppose if they are well fitted they can go in all day, every day (and turned down when riding?).

On group rides, you can't talk with full face helmet guys anyway.  Well you can talk with them, but you can't understand a word they say in return.

I have hearing aids,, never wear them on the bike. They do not work well when a helmet is over them so just take them off. All you will get is wind noise

I wear mine under my 3/4 helmet.  I have a couple programs loaded, one of which has some noise canceling.  Drowns out some of the wind noise while still hearing the intercom and radio real well.

Mine are from Oticon.  If you have some that are more than a few years old, my doc says that the technology is advancing very rapidly.  I don't think it's all for the better.   Grin  Mine sample the sound around me 100 times/second, decide what they think I want to hear, and amplify that while softening other sounds.  Sometimes, they determine that I want to listen to something other than I'm trying to listen to!   tickedoff
