I took an online survey from Cycle World re "Motorcycle Study".

one of the questions was how many miles do you ride a year. Someone screwed it up because the most you could enter was to choose more than 300.   The starting point was less than 25 miles.

I say if you do not put over 300 miles per year on anything on 2 wheels whether 50cc scoot or decked out goldwing, might as well just sell the thing not worth keeping.

although not a high mileage rider, I always put on over 1000 miles per year on all my cycles.  if not, then might as well just sell them.
