broken glass in road

I mean all across the lane on Friday in the Bronx I went over the least dense area and that was the best I could do as 1 lane each way and traffic under the elevated subway tracks
Riding home I thought the handling issues were just from the high wind and made a note to myself to check air before next ride
So it was great this morning and figured take police bike to the dentist on my way to work.
When I checked the air pressure rear tire was 20 ??? instead of 42 in the bmw
so I started to fill it with my little compressor. As it got to 40 I said screw this and took the car to work
When I get home will put bike of center stand and check for air bubbles with my soapy windex mix
If small holes will get some more ride-on as it doesnt make sense to put a big plug in a little hole when the ride on will do the trick Figures the ONE time I dont have it in the tire......

Anytime you run through a lot of glass...as soon as you can check the tread for lodged glass and remove it while checking for leaks...glass stuck in the tread will eventually make it's way through to the important parts

believe it or not, sharp edges of small pea gravel they put on the roads will darn near do the same thing on a somewhat worn tire. My old Avon cobra still had 2-3000 miles left on it before needing replacing but the pea gravel sharp edges did it in early putting about 10-14 small holes in the tread bubbling air out very slowly enough so it was not safe to keep using airing it up every few days.
