Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Been busy with life. Both jobs keeping me busy still. Little lady is doing well and treating me good.  Smiley
Spent the last 6 months of my spare work time planning our epic trip this summer. Everything is all booked.  cooldude
Also been trying to get things done outside before it gets hot. Hard to when you only get 2 nights off a week and every other weekend.  Embarrassed .
Been trying to help dad out around home/farm. End of Dec I picked him up in the ambulance only to find out he has colon ca. I expected someone in the family to get it as g-pa had it. Turns out it was him. He is half way thru chemo and tolerates it real well. Gets a little tired but he is still out doing chores and yard/farm work. Cant tell he has it unless he tells ya. Hasn't had any of the neausea or other sickness. He thinks he will finally retire now. Worked on the railroad since 72 or 74. He's taking all his vacation and personal days, like 6 months worth lol. He is the last railroader (locally) to be working that started on the Erie. I took him to a Erie railroad breakfast that was held in town and he got to see all the old faces. Made his day. So that said I try to get over every week and see him or help. We're getting in the fields now so his stress is high as he don't think he can dig and fix tile ditches or bale hay yet. Hes not one to slow down so that is the hard part.
Valk is up on the lift all prepped for the season. Tank, fairing, bags are all off at the detailers to get Kenzo coated. Should be done in a few days. Finally warmed up this week too. Hope to make the ride in Pikeville and have the rooms booked. Trying to get my shifts covered now. Im hoping we don't bale that weekend or I wont make p'ville.  Embarrassed

Good to see you up and running Brian.  Busy is good..........to a point.

If Pikeville works out for you I have about a 5 1/2 hour ride through Southern Ohio & then KY.  Pretty good roads with nice views, hence non-interstate.  I rode it home after the breakout last year. Give me a shout if you are interested.
