BUT as it was a P G R Mission for yet Another Nam Vet I was Duty Bound to be there. Clear sunshiny cool bout 62 degrees in Sullivan Mo. yesterday and a light turn out. Also the Nam Vet must have been a member of a group I never heard of or interacted with til yesterday. A.R.M.-association of recovering motorcyclists. Orange letters on white back round on the red circle with the slash thru the "stuff" they be recovering from.
Climbed onto I-44 West out of Sullivan and the day was so PERFECT for I knows it Phatt Ghurl is screaming a tune near on 5000 R P M on the tach!  Roll Eyes Just yet another day and manifestation of man and machine becoming as one. Course these Dragons that chose us do make that frikkin EASY!
Fuel stop in Edgar Springs Mo and an older guy asks-3 cylinder engine? And I reply-Yes-on both sides!  2funny cursed if he didn't walk around to the other side and eyeball her. The look on his face after realizing it do have 6 cylinders and was even better when I splained-19 years old and 126000+ miles. Oh-bout 257 miles on the round!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Not bragging nor complaining but I turned 73 feb of 18. Just NOT ready to quit ridin yet. Ross-da prez-and I both realize Any Ride could well be the last one. I just want to get as many miles on Phatt Ghurl as I am able too! There is STILL a Rush when I throw a leg over and snick er into gear and ease that clutch out and find a good straight stretch and twist her tail!  cooldude Joe just had the pic here again recently-if you can walk away from your Motorcycle with out lookin back maybe you bought the wrong motorcycle!  cooldude I did NOT buy the wrong Motorcycle!  coolsmiley RIDE SAFE.

well - when I first bought my PC800, I enjoyed it as much as I currently do my Valk. However, towards the end of my ownership of it, it had started to be a little sour and bitter tasting due to my ongoing electrical issues with it.

Dennis- keep boring us with your Rides Smiley

Dennis,

Thanks for sharing the ride with us. Reading your posts, the tone sounds much like what I would expect to hear at an 'AA' meeting! Naturally, I'd stand right after you and make similar confessions!

Nothing else like it, to be sure, and impossible to explain to someone who has not gone through what we have... I imagine it would be sort of like trying to explain sex to a virgin... Anyway, please keep on sharing your rides... it is good to hear others feel the same way we do...
