I asked the seller about it, how it mounted, etc., said they had no other info. The jerks, they took it off so why no info on how it mounts.

Looks like you take the bar between saddlebags off and put those inserts into . . .
I’ll bet its not to good for pulling anything heavy . .

That's what I was thinking but agree....doesn't seem like it's very heavy duty. I'm tossing around the idea of building a single wheel trailer, somewhat like a Uni-Go. For something that size I would think a light duty hitch like this would work, but I'd like to know more about it. I've often thought the Denray hitch was interesting but not sure it would work with the centerstand installed. I could probably copy one for myself, have to see how things work out with other duties first.

That hitch does hook to the saddle bag brackets. I do not know if I would trust it to hold much more than a flag. Saddle bag brackets are not meant to have side thrust on them. They are built for saddle bags.

I think you hit on it. That's probably what it was designed for. Flag holder. cooldude

I with both of you on this now that I look at it again. If I could find a used Denray I'd probably pick it up, can't see me putting out over $250 for a new one.

John, I’m not familiar with the Denray. But I would post a wanted ad in the classifieds. I did a few years backs got a HitchDoc from Hook for a good price. I must have had 5 or 6 responses .  cooldude

John,
I never heard of a Denray hitch before.  However, I did design and build my own combination hitch and saddlebag bracket.  Mine is similar to the Denray but mine has a receiver instead of just a hole for the ball.  The cost for material was under $75.  I have pulled my rather large trailer with 75 lbs tongue weight and had no problems.  I know, you probably don't want to take the time to build it, but if you have a welder, that is an option.
