So, what are your thoughts on GOA and NAGR? How do they differ from the NRA?
Lesa just became a member of the NRA this weekend as well. I have been a member for decades.
We are both sick and tired of the madness about guns. Difference is....she did something about it and put her money where her mouth is. I so wish more of us would do this. Strength in numbers and unity.
The GOA is what the liberals think the NRA is.
I love the GOA, I'm a life member. They are what the NRA should be.
The NRA is the 800 pound gorilla that gets all the attacks from the enemies of liberty, and the NRA is good at that, while the GOA works in the background to try to protect ALL our freedoms.
(P.S. If you use Amazon, go to smile.amazon.com instead, set your charity to "Gun Owners Foundation" and Amazon will make a charitable donation to GOA with every purchase you make as long as you go to smile.amazon.com instead of
www.amazon.com, no cost to you.)
NAGR I also like and am a member of, but haven't made the leap to life member yet. GOA seems to be a little more hard hitting overall.
Basically the difference between NRA and GOA or NAGR is the NRA is far more willing to compromise our rights away. GOA and NAGR are "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!" groups.
