Met up with J T at Twin Bridges yesterday bout 0830 and we headed to the ferry at Peel Ar. and down to Yellville and got on Ar-14 East towards Mountain View Ar. Grabbed some lunch in Mt. View-nuttin special-the colonel and taco bell-and got on Ar. 5 North towards Calico Rock. THAT-Calico Rock-Is a neat name for a little burg.  Wink 5 N. to Ar 56 E to Ar 223 N which becomes County E in Missouri. Up thru Moody Mo. to U S 160 E to West Plains and the  U S 63 N to home. Since a week and a half ago the leafing out has gone nutso. BUT where the fires have gone thru IS very evident. Needed fuel in Calico Rock and the were more than Happy to let me have said fuel at $2.73 a Gallon. My handle bar mounted thermometer at one point was indicating 93 degrees F. A bit toasty but we managed. Every stop saw both of us shedding a bit more gear. And looking in the reflecting thingy this A M showed a good start on the raccoon eyes thing!  2funny Near on 285 miles yesterday and after a beer and a burrito did NOT take this old fart long to check out the light integrity of my eyelids in the supine position!  Roll Eyes Once we got on At 223 traffic was near non existent.  cooldude Sooo how wuz yer day? RIDE SAFE.

Ross and Bon are going. I on the other hand am not.  Cry I missed Billings and now will be missing Roanoke.  Lips Sealed After I unloaded Aug of 16 I am VERY aware NOW of my health issues. 250-300 mile day now plays hob with my old bones. AND I can NO way NO how carry enough cylinders for my use. I am smack dab up against what slowed R J down.  Sad I'll miss ALL my friends but appears I iz a local rider now-which upon reflection means I are STILL ridin!  cooldude Thanks fer inquiring Tommy! RIDE SAFE.

You'll be missed Dennis, but at least you are getting to enjoy some local riding.  I know a bit of wind therapy is good for my overall wellbeing, so I'm sure it helps yours too.  Wife's therapy on her rotator cuff has it a snag, so I'll be 2-up this year.  Hard to ride without your left hand unless you really practice a lot.  Hopefully, she'll be able to postpone surgery until after Inzane.
