Blue States Rally To Upend Electoral College, With Addition Of Connecticut Connecticut is joining a growing alliance of liberal states in a “pact” that would supposedly allow them to change the way presidents are picked — by allocating each state’s electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote.
Wouldn't it be deliciously ironic if Trump carries the popular vote and only wins the electoral college because of these states change to committing to give their votes to the one who carries the popular vote, thereby re-electing Trump themselves?

From CNN
The state-run Korea Central News Agency said that Kim decided to release the Americans at Trump's suggestion. It added that Pompeo and Kim "reached a satisfactory consensus on the issues discussed" and described the talks as "very beneficial."

In another victory BOOM, Goodlatte, Gowdy Statement on Appointment of U.S. Attorney to Lead Investigation of DOJ Actionshttps://goodlatte.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1185House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) released this statement following the announcement that Attorney General Jeff Sessions will tap U.S. Attorney John W. Huber to investigate the actions of the Department of Justice in 2016 and 2017: “We are encouraged that Attorney General Sessions has designated U.S. Attorney John W. Huber to investigate the actions of the Department of Justice and FBI in 2016 and 2017. While we continue to believe the appointment of a second Special Counsel is necessary, this is a step in the right direction. We expect that U.S. Attorney Huber, given his reputation, will conduct an independent and thorough investigation. Such an investigation is critical to restoring the reputation of both the Bureau and DOJ in the eyes of the American people. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/03/31/turley-sessions-using-utah-federal-prosecutor-much-better-trump-2nd-special-counsel/WASHINGTON, DC – Professor Jonathan Turley, a top national legal expert on government investigations, commented on Thursday about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ decision to bring in U.S. Attorney John Huber. Turley called it “brilliant”to combine all the powers of the U.S. Department of Justice’s inspector general with a prosecutor who can bring charges, seek indictments, and get results for President Trump far more quickly than a second special counsel. Sessions sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC), and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), informing them that Huber is conducting a full-fledged criminal investigation into all the matters Republicans are calling for a special counsel to investigate. Huber has been investigating these possible crimes for five months, since November 13, 2017. As a U.S. attorney, Huber has full authority to empanel a grand jury and to file criminal charges. A grand jury can be empaneled anywhere, which means that it could be a group of citizens from deep-red Utah – in the heart of Trump country – instead of the D.C. Swamp that decides whether to hand down indictments for felony prosecution.

I'll celebrate the good news quietly, but it's way too early for a parade. This carrot & stick game has gone on ever since there became two Koreas, and everything Kim has done could be both real progress or just another façade. The hardest part of drawing up a 50 year graph is waiting 50 years for the data

Well we were warned. He said we might get sick of winning so much. I’m not there yet but as has been pointed out we have at least 2 1/2 years of winning left yet. It could get tiresome I suppose. But not as tiresome as if we had to put up with Pelosi again. That by itself should be enough to get out the conservative vote.

There was a handful of protesters vs. a sea of supporters. Seeing Trump and Pence in person at the NRA convention last week I was expecting at least someone to yell and heckle (Or worse, Dallas has a bad reputation when it comes to presidents and both of them together makes a tantalizing target). I was pleasantly surprised, it was a 100% supportive crowd, no hecklers or protesters at all...

No victory concerning some that I've talked to. The Trump haters claim bringing those hostages home was a mere publicity stunt prompted by a 'donation' from the Trump camp.
Publicity, Donation or Policy I am certain that the hostages and their families are grateful they are back on US soil. A win is a win. Thats kinda the way I see it too. i felt the same way with other hostages in the past although I didn't care for the past administration paying the ransom amounting to about a half million per person.

I read the whole thing and I view it more as a propaganda piece than reality. The first thing that caught my attention was the writer talking about Impeachment like a fact or a serious consideration for Trump and nothing is farther from the truth. I dont understand how he can mention Nixon and completely gloss over Clinton either. Clinton's impeachment meant virtually nothing since the moral decay that was running that admin, reflected the moral decay that was the US was heading to. No longer was there honor in the presidency, drugs, sex, rock and roll had replaced in most the real values that the US had been built on and Nixon was caught just at the beginning of this change. A few years down the line and he never would have quit. While I enjoyed somethings of the Reagan years he too was a part of the moral change in the US. Dont forget Hollywood, the snake pit that Reagan had come out of and although in many ways he was honorable anyone coming out of that is a bit off. Today we see almost the total collapse of norms among many and we have a president that many say is crude, rough, unpolished yet that moral decay and respect for the office of presidency and humans in general has almost totally gone. Today we may have needed just what we got to bring back the ideas and respect for this great nation and the offices that are in government. The comparison would be using window cleaner for a degreaser, It wouldn't have worked. But through all of this impeachment is not only irrelevant but an idea born of those looking left. If we cannot prosecute someone with a known criminal conspiracy, not once but many times, someone who tried to subvert the voting of a nation and the court system, who lied, cheated, stole and sold state secrets. If we cannot prosecute a criminal enterprise to take control of the US then we have not only sold our country to the devil but have lost our way as a nation. So any talk of impeachment is like lipstick on a pig.

I do now. Had to back up and start from the beginning of the thread just because of it too.

sat·ire ˈsaˌtī(ə)r/ noun noun: satire
the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.
and
hy·per·bo·le hīˈpərbəlē/ noun noun: hyperbole; plural noun: hyperboles
exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally.
I could add irony to this, since you accused me of fishing with low quality bait. However, low quality or not, you took the bait. Even though my intention wasn't trolling, and my post not intended as bait, but just being funny.
