Was going to join in on a memorial ride and funeral for a local First Responder the other day. Just before changing lanes to get into the Left turn lane, the bike felt a little weird. When the light changed she didn't want to turn, the front end was really weird feeling. Luckily there was a store about 100yds after the turn. Had to wrestle the front end to turn into the store and when I stopped I could see the front tire was really low. Rode to the air pump and I could see the rubber valve stem was cracked. Long story short, 2 more air stops later, I made it home. I missed the ride and funeral though. Going out in a few minutes to put a new valve stem in. Got the Big Bike Parts stems. Had the same thing happen to the back last year. Should have changed them both out then.
Oh well, time to go play tire fixer. It's Harley week here, so of course I want to keep the Harley home and ride the Fat-Girl around all the Hogs.

You're a gambler!

Glad you made it through both episodes unscathed.

Easy, Peasy. All done. Good old C-Clamp to break the bead, pop out the old one and in with the new. Time to go out in Harley week and let the Fat-Girl mingle.

Yes, I had a flat on the back last year. Pulled the tire, cleaned and greased/lubed everything, changed to gear oil in the rear. Probably about 4k miles ago.
