Spent most of the day today at Brian Tooley Racing in Bardstown, Ky. They had a customer appreciation day and a show and shine car show. They were really first rate hosts. Free water and soft drinks all day. They fed everyone a plate lunch free of charge and I came away with tee shirts, hat, garage gloves, and more. Some real high horsepower rides there, most were either blown or turbocharged and then there was me and my car too.

Got to see a new Corvette ZR1 that was still wearing its temporary tag. Owned by the host, Brian Tooley.

Fairly rare site these days was this old Willys.

It wasn’t short on power.

My dirty car was hidden in with the big boys.

Sorry but no two wheel pics today.

Did you happen to notice the shop floor?

Are the spinning tire burnouts tracks (donuts) still there?  They were put there right after the floor was poured and before they put a clear coating down.    Smoke was rolling out of that building that day.....  Brian just couldn't resist the urge.      Evil

The concrete foreman came in the next morning and almost had a stroke!

You could step inside the warehouse but not tour the whole place. They didn’t even want cameras out back there. I couldn’t see any evidence of the mischief. Very clean operation

I luv the old Willys, that looks like a steel body, even more rare site these days. I've been to the last three Hot Rod Reunions in Bowling Green lots of nostalgic Willys drag car usually. At least one all steel Willys pick up, my fave.

I try to make a trip to Bardstown at least once a year to Delany's meat mkt. (not sure proper name). Best country sausage anywhere. If you haven't tried it, you might want check it out.
