Well my new Clearview windsheild arrived today for my IS. I went with the 21inch (5" taller, and 2" wider than stock). I also splurged and got the 17% shading and adjustable vent. It fits like a glove.
I'm  glad I viewed the forum first, be cause I stripped out 6 out of 8 brass screw mounts, but I had already purchased the replacemt parts before getting the new sheild.
The only tough parts were getting the speaker covers off ( stripping the brass), and finding the lower set of screws hold the chrome cover on.  Stealthy little buggers.
I was thinking though
As long as I have the speaker covers off, rather than having to remove them again. Now would be the time to replace the stock speakers.
Just have to find the speakers and BAZINGA.
Anyone have any other suggestions on things I should do while I have the fairing apart. I was thinging of installing a LED strip in the air intake of the fairing. Maybe give it the KITT look
If at first you don't succeed, then perhaps skydiving isn't for you

I have this on the upper right inside of the fairing (in matching black, not reflecting chrome).

It may give you an early warning of a failing alternator or battery.

It generally only gives a single green, and at low idle, maybe no green.

(It's not really this big)

Perfect time to put in the signal module produced by "Jersey". 4 way flash, alternating flash(escort mode) and turn canceling. Works great :cooldude:
