Total miles riden on my westward trip . . .
Had a great time seen some amazing things . . .
Thanks to some great folks here i got onto some roads and areas i prob would have never even thought about . . .

North out of santa fe on the turquise trail was very nice saw a valkyrie red and black IS parked at one of the bars in Madrid. . . .

Across colorado to four corners and then back to Durango for the night . . .

Million dollar highway to gramd junction for lunch . . .




Took 141 just south of grand junction into a very small town called naturita . .  Beautiful country for sure
Filled up there and jumped on 90 into Utah onto 191 to Moab . . .
A few days there taking in all the sights . .
Canyonlands and the arches . . .


The ride from there to Kanab Utah was great took 95 to 24 to 12 and then 89 into Kanab long day but so worth it . . .

Two days there seeing zion . . .
BEAUTIFUL . .

Got a wild hair up my arse Saturday morning and decided we were heading to vegas for the night so off we went . . . Night at TI saw a cirque de sol show and bet on the kentucky derby played 5,6,7 in a trifecta in the box . . . (6 bucks) and guess what numbers came in . . . Yep i won. . . . I thought it would be a big win but only payed $141.40 not bad for a 6 dollar bet but not as good as i thought it would be . .
Leaving vegas took us thru lake mead and over the hoover dam . . .
To a nice little town of Williams Az


Spent the next day at the Grand Canyon . .

Pictures sure dont do it any justice it is sure a sight to see . .
Prob should have hit the west rim. . They have this glass skywalk thing . . But the southrim was Excellent
After the grand canyon it was haul ass home . . .  

With a stop in winslow to stand on the corner . . .

Been following all the pictures.  cooldude Looks like the same route in Utah as we are taking. I thought about vegas also but we out of time. One thing I remember from last yr is seeing a sign that says " Los Angeles 450 mile" Just kinda shocked me.  Grin

Looks like a great trip.  Like Jim Morrison said, the West is the best!  Cool you got to squeeze in the Million Dollar Highway.  Now picture it in the fall with the leaves changing colors.

It snowed a bit on the million $ hwy but just flurries . . .
Yes the ride thru utah was great . . . .
24 to 12 was very good and then up into the dixie forest . . .
Awesome . . .  All the way around . . .

Last aug the wife and i went to boston ... cape cod took the ferry over to marthas vineyard . . .
And even went into ny city to see the statue of liberty . . . Also beautdul but bery very different . . . .
