(BTW, for those who don't know £9000 works out to around $12,150.00 more or less.)

One of the best reviews of the Valkyrie I've ever seen.

Within an hour before totaling my '98 Tourer, I was stopped at the Nelson Cheese Factory where one big biker, riding a 111 Indian, was really eyeing my Jade Lady.  Once I identified myself as the owner, he proceeded to tell me that he knows a man that buys up our 1500 Valkyries and ships them overseas, where they sell for $20k in England, Germany and Japan.  Can't confirm that, but it makes my mishap really bite...

Best of luck at those prices. Average price for a sub 30k mile Valk in Britland and Euroland is between £5 to £6k. Very slow sellers here, most riders want adventure bikes. Even sports bikes are taking a dive.
Tried to sell one of my Valks last year (a no faults bike with 115k) for £3500 -  600 hits on Biketrader UK but not one call.
I was thinking of buying a new Bagger, but with no interest as a trade in and zero interest as a private sale, may as well put the money into more road trips and keep the old girl.
Remember the Valkyrie was sold in Europe and Britain from 1996 and never was a big hit. By 98 they were heavily discounted by 2000 order only.
Love both my Valks coming up to 165k miles on them now, but no sign of them becoming collectable classics.
