Shouldn't the "thrust" be on the low side?

Did you read the article. I thought the same thing until I read it.

I'm never going back to training wheels.

I hated them even in 2d grade.

The tech being tested is the thruster, not the training wheels.

Doesn't seem like there would be enough thrust in that shot to have much effect.

If you can quickly enough get your butt near pavement level and pointed in the right direction, your skills deserve a spot on America's Got Talent.

Why, yes I did.

" you hear a loud hiss as your bike vents pressurized gas to counteract the slide and help right your bike."

The visible gas release is on the high side in both photograph and video. In the video there is no visible movement of any gravel as surely there wold be with a gas release strong enough to help slightly raise a sliding motorcycle.

And another vector sending the rider next to you into shallow Earth orbit. I don't know of any vehicle that uses rocket thrust on public roadways. Except maybe the Batmobile.

They probably shouldn't have said, "help right your bike."  It's clearly designed to give downforce and give back the lost traction.
