On vacation in Seattle.   Flew in with the wifey.   Rented a car and over near Everette Washington saw a black Valkyrie with no saddle bags but had saddle bag chrome frames.    Who might that be?     Going on a Alaskan Cruise next week.    Saved for last 10 yrs for this retirement trip.   Leaving Sunday.  Driving up Mt Rainer today.

If you like fried clam strips try Ivar’s. There used to be one right down by the docks.

Hey Rob, good to hear from you. Ruthie has a KPC convention in Anaheim first week of August, I will drive there and we’ll head north through Vegas, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Seattle, Vancouver and back down south. Lived 16 years in San Francisco and never made Oregon or Washington, sad ain’t it. Thatcher, our 2 year old Boxedor will be along for the ride, not on the Valk.

This is a non-hijack message as Seattle and New England are close in latitude.

Just got home from the Alaskan Cruise on Norwegian Pearl.   Awesome trip, great food, great shows, just totally awesome scenery.   Went to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay, Victoria Canada, and back to Seattle.   Loved it.   One of the best trips the wife and I have taken in 45 yrs of marriage.   Older crowd, everyone had a great time.    Great shows also.   Had the drink package and day or night just step up to the bar and get a drink.....ha.     Its a "I Recommend" trip.  Went to a siminar on the running of the ship.  The ship has 5 engines that produce 20,000 horsepower EACH.    Props are electric motors.   When running full out at 24 mph they are running on 4 of the engines.   These motors at that speed are burning a gallon of fuel/second and 1 gallon of fuel pushes the ship 30'.   amazing.   Not enough space to tell all about the ship but was blown away that they use 38,000 chicken eggs per 1 week cruise.....ha  lots of facts that you would find interesting.   Anyways, we had a great time.  Flew out of Seattle this morning headed home on a flight from Seattle to Houston but someone on the plane had a medical emergency and we landed in Albuquerque .   My buddy we were traveling with said "You know its not good when they come on the loud speaker and ask if there is a Doctor on board the plane."   I said "Better than coming on the loud speaker and asking "Is there anyone on the plane who is a pilot"....haha   While refueling they found a problem with one of the engines.  We were grounded about an hr while they worked on it.   Then headed home to Houston.   Got home in Tomball, Tx this afternoon.    Now back to cutting grass and yard work.....and trying to lose the 10 lbs I gained on the trip.
