Just a guy who likes to ride and rock...

I just mounted one of those on the front of my 1500. Hoping it lasts to Alaska and back.
I ride a motorcycle because nothing transports me as quickly from where I am to who I am.

I am planning on a set of Road 5 GT's as soon as I wear out the Pilot Road 4 GT's I put on about 3500 miles ago that show zero wear!

Alas ! Motorradonline.de (the biggest bike magazine in Europe) has published the annual test on GT tires (Pirelli Angel GT, Michelin Road 5, Metzeler Roadtec 01, Conti Road Attack 3 GT, Dunlop Roadsmart III, Bridgestone T31).

On wet roads, the Road 5 is the best one (ex-aequo with the Pirelli Angel GT), but after 3600 km, the front Road 5 is 31% of what it was when new (the Pirelli is 44.8%, the Continental is 60.5) ; the rear tire lasts far better, even with the others except the Bridgestone which melts as butter in the sun as we say here).
