Rear wheel install?

Ok guys...new to posting, had valk for three years....goldwing before that.  Finished mounting Parkside rear....question on procedure.  Axle first, four bolts on pumpkin/shaft, then right shock....Do I keep weight off rear wheel until shock is on and then lower or when do I put weight on tire?

Also replaced rear shock bushings which were shot.

Yes to all above. No weight on tire until all done
