Oh this depends on what keys you're talking about.

I know you can get Gen 1 (through 2003) Valk keys made at a good, competent locksmith. At worst you should be able to order one from the dealership parts.

House keys - you should have one SOMEWHERE.

other Vehicle keys - older ones (pre- electronic FOB  types) - see the locksmith. FOB types - you will probably need to see  a dealership with proof of ownership. THESE are going to COST YOU BIG TIME. It's not just cutting the key - it's also doing the electronic mating of keys to locks / ECU's.

Check your seat lock. They sometimes get lost there.   cooldude

If not there you can take your ownership papers with VIN  to a dealer . They can help you.

If you have the tiny metal tag that originally came with the bike from Honda that has the key code on it you can get a key made at a Honda MC dealership. If not and you have a Tour or Interstate with the original bag locks the key # is on the lock cylinder. You’ll have to remove the cylinder from the assembly to see the code. You have to remove the lock assembly from the bag. This is assuming the bags are not locked. If you have a standard model there may be a code on the ignition switch once you remove and take it apart. As sead above I’ve found my lost key in the seat release more that a couple of times.

You can take your ignition off and take it to a locksmith. They can make keys from the code on there.

Rob, you can remove the cover, unbolt the ignition, turn it over, write the code down or memorize it, take the code to the locksmith.

You are right Eli. When it happened to me (locked my keys in the trunk) I wanted to make sure the key worked while at the locksmith. Had extra keys made and wrote down the code and put away for safe keeping.  cooldude

At InZane XVII (Billings) someone lost their keys and there was a general call for people to try their keys on that bike.  I don't think anyone else's keys worked.

Remove the chrome cover around your ignition key switch and there you will find your key code. 4 or 5 numbers. Take that and your registration to Honda dealer. They made me one a couple months ago for $12.

A couple online sites that make keys from the numbers cheaper than a locksmith:
