take forever to arrive from Partzilla.  I have some vacation time coming up in a week, and decided to postpone a trip and instead pull the carbs and replace some weak float springs and seeping fuel rail orings. However the last few times I've ordered through Partzilla it's been over a week for the parts to arrive, and I'm not giving them another chance.  Has anyone had luck with Western Honda, or can recommend a supplier who ships a timely manner?  Thanks.

Fuel rail leak kit and bowl gaskets will come from Redeye, never had a problem with him.

There was a thread from Leathel a while back where he replaced them with K&L’s (if I remember). They had slightly stronger springs I think. You might be able to get those on Amazon pretty quickly.

I believe these are the float needles I used when I redid my Standard.

Thanks!  I was just doing a search and this is the direction I'm being pointed.  Smiley

I have a good relationship with my local Honda dealer. Ehlerding Motorsports. I find the part I need using a parts phish online and then go down to Ehlerding and talk to Brian in parts. He matches the prices I find. I have even borrowed tools from them to do repaired on Valkyries at home.

As I understand it when you order most OEM parts online, the seller has to get them from Honda first, which adds a few days to the process.  That's especially true for older bikes like the Valkyrie, where about the only parts any dealer might stock would be filters and brake pads.

I recently ordered OEM Valkyrie parts from Honda Direct Line and Competition Accessories.  In both cases everything arrived in about a week.

and why do u think the float springs are weak? what testing info do u have and use? never seen a honda spec on spring tension. do u have a spring tester? high heat and coil bind weakens springs. neither happen in the carb bowl.

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ ships fast if they have the part in stock.   The only time partszilla was slow for me was when the part had to come from the main honda warehouse.
