Tail light And rear turn signals out

Was out for a ride last night and was on a country road that was having some work done on it and was very bumpy. When I got to the stop sign at the end of the road and put on my turn signal I noticed my dash indicator was flashing fast. Look back and realize that my rear turn signal didn't work. I proceeded home using hand signals. When arriving home I check and found that not only were my rear turn signals out, but my brake and running light was out. I checked the fuses under the right side cover an the top two that are labeled taillight were not blown. My guess is, broken wire, but I don't even know where to start. Any input would be great thank you.

I have a 2003 standard

BTW, I tried the search feature a few different ways and didn't come up with anything.

Start under the seat and trace them back to the rear.  Could have a problem where the wires slip under the rear fenders.  You'll find wiring diagrams here.

Sounds like they came unplugged. Check the connectors under the seat behind the right side cover.

Are you running a tall car tar, like an Austone?  I've heard of people using taxi tires and hitting massive bumps,  ripping out the wiring under the rear fender.

There is also a connector under the rear fender at the fender seam/joint. Should be sitting inside a small metal box-like structure under the fender.

Thanks all for the help, now I have a few points to start with, hopefully one of these easy fixes will work.

Well I found the problem. Thanks for the pointers. That bump must have been bigger then I thought, or I need to lose some weight.

Ripped the connection under the rear fender in half. Will work on the fix in the morning. To many wild turkeys to continue tonight.
