Bought a 2nd hand motor that hydrolock with  22k miles (they say). So far found only two of the five
missing gear teeth, still looking. At this point beginning to think the pieces went behind the clutch, cylinder block area. Any one know of a few tricks/tips???

both gears, four on the first gear, and one on the starter gear

I haven't had to experience this. But I remember reading posts of pieces get stuck in a screen between the clutch area and the mainblock.

I rebuilt on. Same issue. You can get an endoscope online for 35 bucks. Has a light and a magnet on it. You can find it. If I can find the link , I think Amazon , I'll send to you. And it just bluetooths the image to your phone.

Got above on order but dont think i will find all three, looks hopeless! May have a change of plan though if im lucky.
