This was in Zero Hedge and I said the US is not in a civil war, but then I began to read the article and realized to some extent we are. Its as though the rule of law and the rule of the governing system has broken down in some situations. It also begs the question that for unity should this be really happening, even for decent society, should this really be happening. The last line says the battle is between Republican or Democrat, but I dont think that is the case. I would say the battle is between constitutionalist and the One World open boarder proponents. An ideology that would ultimately destroy the constitution and the US as we know it.

Jack Minzey sent what was to be the final chapter in the long line of books and treatises which he had written. Jack passed away Sunday, 8 April 2018. Professionally, Jack was head of the Department of Education at Eastern Michigan University as well as a prolific author of numerous books, most of which were on the topic of Education and the Government role therein. This is the last of his works:

Civil War

How do civil wars happen?

Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree that elections are how you decide who’s in charge.  That’s the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country? When you hate each other but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.

The Mueller investigation is about removing President Trump from office and overturning the results of an election. We all know that. But it’s not the first time they’ve done this. The first time a Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn’t really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election. There’s a pattern here.

What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that transfers of power in this country are determined by elections.

That’s a civil war.

There’s no shooting. At least not unless you count the attempt to kill a bunch of Republicans at a charity baseball game practice. But the Democrats have rejected our system of government.

This isn’t dissent. It’s not disagreement. You can hate the other party. You can think they’re the worst thing that ever happened to the country. But then you work harder to win the next election. When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what you want is a dictatorship.

Your very own dictatorship.

The only legitimate exercise of power in this country, according to Democrats, is its own. Whenever Republicans exercise power, it’s inherently illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress. They lost the White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run the country through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every time that a Federal judge issues an order saying that the President of the United States can’t scratch his own back without his say so, that’s the civil war.

Our system of government is based on the constitution, but that’s not the system that runs this country. The Democrat’s system is that any part of government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over the country.

If the Democrats are in the White House, then the president can do anything. And I mean anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal aliens. He can fine you for not having health insurance. His power is unlimited. He’s a dictator.

But when Republicans get into the White House, suddenly the President can’t do anything. He isn’t even allowed to undo the illegal alien amnesty that his predecessor illegally invented. A Democrat in the White House has ‘discretion’ to completely decide every aspect of immigration policy. A Republican doesn’t even have the ‘discretion’ to reverse him. That’s how the game is played That’s how our country is run. Sad but true, although the left hasn’t yet won that particular fight.

When a Democrat is in the White House, states aren’t even allowed to enforce immigration law. But when a Republican is in the White House, states can create their own immigration laws. Under Obama, a state wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that California is an independent republic and sign treaties with other countries.

The Constitution has something to say about that.

Whether it’s Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary, the left moves power around to run the country. If it controls an institution, then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in the land. This is what I call a moving dictatorship.

Donald Trump has caused the Shadow Government to come out of hiding: Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can’t serve in if you’re not a member. If you haven’t been indoctrinated into its arcane rituals. If you aren’t in the club. And Trump isn’t in the club. He brought in a bunch of people who aren’t in the club with him.

Now we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they investigate them and they send them to jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down.

That’s not a free country.

It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out an ‘insurance policy’ against Trump winning the election. It’s not a free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who wasn’t supposed to win did.

Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer government and a leftist Democrat professional government.

A lot of truth there.  But it doesn't help his position to exagerate with generalities rather than accurate specificity.  eg, "go to the bathroom; scratch his back; kill a bunch of Republicans".  I would add, he didn't mention that the Dem platform includes gun confiscation and denial / revoking the 2nd amendment.  The one constitutional right that ensures all the others and empowers the people against the tyranny they want to instill.  Note the majority of those supporting 2A are conservatives - against the Dems. And note, having the power of arms is not endemic to their side.  I can't imagine, in a contest of force, that they could win.  I for one, will not be arming any liberals / sharing my "arsenal" when the SHTF (in quotes because according to the liberal MSM, more than one gun is an "arsenal". I have more than one but not discussing that anymore on the interweb.) Including my liberal family unless they recant and take an oath supporting the Constitution.  (Knowing liberals, how good is their oath - recall all politicians including liberals and Obama swore on that oath.)  But I will help conservatives known to be on my side.

Well Guv Greitens here in Missouri resigned due to outside "pressure" and lack of a war chest to fight it. Did I mention he IS an R? Did I mention those bringing the charges were Ds? Sooooooo all in all my Vote meant doodlysquatnuttin!  uglystupid2 And I do see them with the same tactics Against currently Elected President Trump. While I am Not in total lockstep with him I am more for him then I was the last person that held that title. RIDE SAFE.

Those last words of his should hit everyone who loves this country and their personal liberties like an oncoming freight train.  How close to that locomotive headlight bearing down on you do you need to be before you decide to do something about it?

An interesting time line or stories, starting when he was elected and continues till his resignation. I have no idea if the charges against him were real or not but some interesting history that shows the power of money and influence.

Eric Greitens, a former Navy SEAL whose military awards include the Bronze Star, has become the first Jewish governor of Missouri.

Three teenagers were in custody Monday night after the wife of Missouri Governor-elect Eric Greitens was robbed outside a St. Louis restaurant.

One of Missouri’s biggest newspapers is calling for Democratic State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal to resign after her controversial Facebook post hoping President Donald Trump will be assassinated.

“We had leaders who wanted to give people a safe space to loot and to burn,” Greitens told Fox News. “Now in Missouri if you loot the only safe space you’re going to have is in a jail cell.”
St. Louis erupted in more violent protests overnight since the acquittal of a white police officer charged with murdering a black man after a car chase.

The married governor of Missouri was accused in a news report Wednesday of using a half-naked, S&M photo to pressure a woman he was cheating with into keeping quiet about the affair.

Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens lashed out against a St. Louis prosecutor Thursday, hours after a grand jury indicted him on a felony invasion-of-privacy charge related to an extramarital affair.

Chappelle-Nadal, the state lawmaker who recently wrote she hoped President Donald Trump would be assassinated, shared a tweet that said, “Greitens should know where the Trump Train goes. At the end of the line is this place!” The tweet included a picture showing the gates of a Nazi concentration camp.

On Thursday, a grand jury indicted Missouri Governor Eric Greitens in St. Louis on felony invasion of privacy charges stemming from a recently revealed affair that is alleged to have taken place in 2015.

Eric Greitens, the embattled Republican Missouri governor facing a sexual misconduct scandal and allegations of misuse of a charity donor list, said Tuesday he will resign this week.

Never let it be said that hard left plutocrat George Soros is anti-cop.

Sure, Soros’s Open Society Foundations funded anti-police protestors in Ferguson, Missouri and supported the Black Lives Matter hooligans.

But, lo and behold, Soros was spotted on a recent Friday night in Union Station being all warm and fuzzy with the fuzz. Two white Amtrak police officers escorted Soros out of private waiting room and onto an Amtrak golf cart. One officer then chauffeured Soros down the tracks, presumably to a waiting train.

Exclusive: Man Accused Of Shooting At Police In #Ferguson Previously Bailed Out By Soros-Funded Organization…For Prior Gun Crime…

Who is Molly Gott? Why, she’s a community organizer with MORE (Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment), a Soros-funded group we’ve talked about before, who has paid protesters. MORE was previously ACORN.
So here’s a question. Why was this organization putting up money to bail this man out for theft of a car, stealing a gun and resisting? Was that part of a protester operation?

In doing so, they enabled him to be free to shoot at police last Sunday.

In all, Mr. Soros gave at least $33 million in one year to support already-established groups that emboldened the grass-roots, on-the-ground activists in Ferguson, according to the most recent tax filings of his nonprofit Open Society Foundations.

The financial tether from Mr. Soros to the activist groups gave rise to a combustible protest movement that transformed a one-day criminal event in Missouri into a 24-hour-a-day national cause celebre.

I think we need to realize that there are still a lot of level headed Liberals out there that don't want to do away with the second amendment, that are for free expression of thought.

The Democrats problem is that their party has been taken over by the progressive socialist.  For them winning is everything no matter how they have to do it.  They do not care for the poor or the little person they just hate the so called rich and deplore real freedom.

The Republicans also need to be careful they don't become as hateful as the progressives.  It's one thing to speak the truth it's another to use it as a weapon.

As I understand this mess bout our Former guv the "photo" had not surfaced. Shortly after he announces his resignation ALL other charges are dropped-donor list in particular. Both our current POTUS and the former guv of Missouri according to the lame stream media all this bs was prior to them holding their respective offices. Calling on the rekememberer here but I believe in President Trumps instance daniels was in 2006. He had the money to pay her to be quiet. Apparently it was NOT Enough money. It were 10 years Before he took office. WHO besides the ds and some deep state muck rakers gives one third of a diseased rats patootie? So he dipped his wick BEFORE becoming POTUS-BFD.  uglystupid2 No way No how could he at that point in time compromise Any gubmint secrets to her. DUH! Also read where the ds are gonna fight POTUS on his stuff on N K if it don't meet with the ds approval. Has ANYONE prior to Trump since the Korean conflict gotten N K to the negotiation table for any kind of talks? The only caveat I would have is to Not trust ANYTHING N K sez. Action-provable action is all I care about BEFORE they git the first of our nickles. RIDE SAFE.
