Well this just sucks.

I had to cut my ride short to InZane. My back has been giving me problems for some weeks now. After one day of riding I felt I just couldn't go on. I left the guys in Deming NM and headed back home. I rode 651 miles to home yesterday in heat up to 111 degrees. I made it home at 6pm and could hardly walk. I do have an MRI coming up and a cortisone injection as well. I am so disappointed. I must say I'm really impressed with my new F6B. 80 MPH all the way through NM and AZ with no complaints.

Sorry to hear that. My back is giving me fits also...  Have you tried a riding belt like a back-a-line?

Gary:
Sorry to hear that Dave, that does suck!

Mine has been giving me some grief this trip as well but it often does. I may need to check those back supports out.

The 100 plus temps thru TX Panhandle, OK and upper 90's in AR were wearing this rider down. I left Los Alamos about 6A in 50 degrees last Friday, it felt great.

Rolled in to my sons here in Charleston about 1:30 today. I'm getting a new front tire put on tomorrow.

Jess from VA:
When I had chronic back issues, I tried a number of back belts, but the motocross stretchy but firm was the best of all (Velcro adjustable).  Only thing was I was a bit worried the hard back plate would mangle my driver's backrest.  It didn't, but I covered he belt with a jacket or untucked heavy Tshirt.

Of course, when you are sporting a medium pot belly (or more) those belts can be pretty uncomfortable in front.

No, I am not expecting.   ;D

BigMac (SoCal):
Unfortunately my problem can't be helped with a back brace. I have moderate disc height loss at L4-5 with a grade 1 Anterolisthesis ( you'll have to google that). I get on MRI on the 27th and hopefully I'll have more information then. On the 12 of July I get a Cortisone injection in the affected area. I'm also was doing some therapy but it didn't seem to help. At first it didn't hurt to ride my bike but after a long day I just couldn't get comfortable. Also taking some Gabapentin but it hasn't taken effect yet.

Thanks for all your kind words.
