Facebook...Again!

I don't subscribe to Facebook...never have...never will, but personal information from Non-Members is being swept up as well as subscribers who agreed to share theirs.. I am NOT okay with that. Now we find out that Chinese Tech Firms have been granted access to all this info as well by Facebook.

Some here believe that Privately Owned American Tech Corps like Facebook are afforded the freedom to do this...problem is I live in Canada and will probably never have the ability to drag them into court if I discover that they sold stolen personal information that I never agreed to share.
If a Class Action Lawsuit ever made it past discovery, I may not have the right to participate.

Not looking for an alternative...as I said...don't and never will waste my time on these sites...prefer good old human contact in person or over the phone.
It seems like all this social media stuff has gotten in the way of real personal relations.
