I know I have discussed this time and time again, but if anyone has progressive please review your auto and/or cycle insurance policy very, very closely for any minor details.  WE bought and had on auto policy May 2017 a 4 grand car for daughter and since my new renewal went up 15.77% yet again just found out today  tickedoff,  they had owning the vehicle down ONLY 1 month vs. 1 year and 1 month on progressives insurance policy since bought.  I guess owning vehicles and insuring longer with Progressive most of time lowers the rates.  It went down 19 bucks every 6 month renewal on that one car by changing from month to 1 year and 1 month.  I asked why did not their system catch this since had Progressive since May 2017 when bought and no common sense explanation as well.

Plus, do not believe insurance claim adjusters and repair writers with Progressive.  I had a deer collision Feb 2018 on my near new 2017 toyota tundra and he assured me NO RATE increase since comprehensive claim not at fault accident.  He was WRONG and I emailed him and my progressive agent as well that I was lied to when getting vehicle repaired for over 500 dollar payout (close to 3 grand in repairs could have been much worse).  He assured me NO rate increase and here I see 15.77% went up.   Progressive said some of that is due to typical B.S. 'payouts in my area are more where I live'  and some due to comprehensive claim in Feb. 2018.

So, do not listen to the cops as well to just HIT the deer not swerving since listen to me try to avoid the deer collision safely if possibly by swerving just not off the road or hitting anything else.  The cop told me that rainy night comp. claims do not affect rates as well with deer collisions.  He was wrong as well.

Do not even get me started on motorcycle insurance with no common sense Progressive.  Apparently owning and insuring 6 cycles on one policy is cheaper than owning and insuring with Progressive only 4 cycles.  Explain that one???   uglystupid2   So, if I sell 2 cycles I am still keeping both on my Progressive insurance policy to lower the rates vs. only having 4 cycles.

I moved from city to country.

Geico gave me a rebate on my car insurance.

Progressive told me to take a hike.

Bye bye Progressive at renewal time.

I had Progressive for 14 years with one or more motorcycles.  Never had a claim.  The 15th year they decided to raise my rate 30%.  I think it was age discrimination.  Bye, bye Progressive.  I now have ANPAC.

already contacted Geico for cycle rates were double progressive I just laughed and hung up.

just bringing light to double and triple check every single detail on auto and cycle policy since even a mishap that progressive made not doing over 1 year of ownership on one car lowered rate 19 bucks every 6 months.

I also got an email from progressive 2 days ago that I am on track to go from gold to platinum membership so I asked on phone today about that email.  They said have to be 3 years with them to get platinum rewards vs. just gold rewards and only been with them 1 1/2 years so why the email a whole 1 1/2 years away?  They had no reasoning why email got generated 1 1/2 years in advance.  But, that yet again brought up my cycle insurance being ONLY silver rewards (under 1 year) vs. gold rewards should be since 1 1/2 years with them also on cycles.  Yet again, they screwed up and never caught that either where their system should automatically update based upon length with them, but guess their idiotic system did not catch that one as well and they will update ASAP from silver to gold rewards.  Makes you wonder what kind of fly by night operating system they use?  uglystupid2

yep, thanks, will do.  found several local agents which am sure do Foremost as well as other insurance companies.  Cannot hurt to find one who can be loyal to their customers, if that even exists anymore in the messed up world of insurance companies.
