got call at work 1 p.m. from assisted living to consider taking mom to ER today since unable to walk and not thinking clearly, more so than normal. Friday she was fine using walker and better mood and speaking clearly. Sunday went over not so good still able to walk with walker but not as good and her speech was bad and unclear unable to speak and what she did say was pretty mumbled not making any sense. She for first time also asked if I was there to take her home and wondered why her mom was not visiting her (grandma died about 30 years ago), very puzzling.
ER results of chest xray, blood, and urine as usual came back negative of course today. Plus, her shaking of hands, body got much worse Sunday and now today very bad to go from/to ER she was unable to even take a step and walk having to need a wheelchair, not good at all, violently shaking her body/arms/etc.
I read up and hope it is just a bad few days, getting back to walking with walker/less shaking, but sounds like more and more she is beginning her late stages of Altzheimers which on average they say last 1-3 years.
VERY odd like a flip of a switch Friday she was happy go lucky and walking and speaking pretty good, but Sunday into Monday total opposite very bad.

I told my brother we need to start thinking of selling her house since highly unlikely now she will ever be able to go back home which was our hopes thinking ya never know it might get better or not progress as badly as it has so sudden like.... She has been in assisted living since December 2018 when she fell at home not doing any damage but also not thinking clearly and walking has gotten much, much worse.
I cannot imagine not being able to walk confined to a wheelchair for such a dreaded disease as Altzheimers when her technically bodily functions appear normal on the outside.
