Putzing around the house doing cleaning and tidying.

Sun streaming through the windows and I can hear the breeze rustling the tree leaves.

11 a.m and I canna take much more Captain.

On with riding gear and Hi Ho Valkyrie away.

The first sharp bend is within feet of my house.

It's my driveway  Cheesy

Driveway plunges down. If it snows or gets icy I'm not going anywhere  cooldude

About 11 miles west of Clayton Hwy 197 goes south towards the 3 lakes. Burton, Rabun and Seed.

Lake Burton trout hatchery

Lunch is at https://lapradesmarina.com/marina-amenities/

There's a small outlet of Hawg Wild BBQ lake side by the marina.

There's also a small outside bar.

Parked.

Lake Burton Dam Rd goes right by...............................

The dam  cooldude

Thanks for the ride!
Only ride I’ll get today, skies are blackening, rain is on its way.

BUT, vacation day tomorrow, 2 wheels heading west early a.m.

At the top of Lake Burton is  Lakemont

Inbetween Lakemont and Clayton is Tiger with a drive in movie.

I'm starting to think that I need to check out the roads in your area.  cooldude

There's a similar place on Smith Mountain Lake near me, it's nice to go there and just hang out sometimes.

Home at 2.

Just had Duffy and Steve visit me.

5 minutes after they left on bikes this blew through.

I hope they missed it.

Nope, but he ran out of gas on the lake a couple of weeks ago.

Yes he did, but I understand that the out of gas incident was at his "everyday" lake house in Tuscaloosa. I also understand that the out of gas incident turned out to be a bad fuel pump on a new pontoon boat rather than actually being out of gas. cooldude
