I wish to thank the staff, volunteers and most of all the great people I met at InZane. I headed down from Philadelphia solo, not sure what to expect. I have been to Americade twice, a great event to see the latest in motorcycle equipment and spend money. After a few days at InZane I realized this event was about an amazing bike and the people who own them. I liked the wheeling and dealing at the swap meet, I picked up some new items for my 2003.  I met the Attic rat himself, after discussing his performance work on Valkyries I looked him up, on line. What a great Reputation he has, could not find any negative comments about his work and his fees were more than fair. I believe I’ll be calling him soon. I was impressed by the group’s spirit of giving, the blood drive and the $7500 donation to the Brain Trauma Rehab Center.  I have been a member of this group for 8 years, this was my first InZane, hopefully not my last. – Bill from Philly.

My last Inzane-and hopefully not THE last-was 16 in Morgantown W V. Not to shabby what a-mostly-bunch of gnarly old bikers can do. My first Inzane was Eureka Springs Ar and from that moment on I wuz hooked!  2funny I've missed 17 in Billings Mt and 18 in Roanoke Va. In my case anywho there is a physical pain due to the fact I weren't in attendance at 17 and 18.  Cry I've forged some cursed good Friendships due to a M/C that ain't even being built anymore. As an aside Bob Smith-a k a atticrat-is good people. Bob saved my Spearfish-15-trip the weekend before I was to leave and meet a group of riders in Nebraska City Ia. Due to his diligence and clearing time for me I made that ride.  cooldude He-Bob-has been known to jaw on the phone fer a goodly bit of time now and then.  Roll Eyes I've ridden with a Lot of different clubs and groups over the years and this one-VRCC-and the P G R I put right there at the top!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

I spent a lot of time in the VRCC chatroom starting mid '99 I think and that place would be jumping, especially on the weekends when we would have 8, 10, 12 in there for hours. One night we had over 20 and it was really trying to try and keep your convo going because there so many folks chatting about so many different things. Then the planning for InZane started and it go more fun, to the point we "shamed" a guy into coming over from England. To me InZane is a socializing event. I think that I might have put 10 miles on the Valk over that span of the event, including winning the "ride the rail" and coming in 2nd place in the "eat the wienie" contest with Oz's daughter as a passenger and we lost to Samosa and Dragbars Christian. After all of that why did I not make it to another? I dont know, but I am going to try real hard. If it is farther that I want to ride the KTM, then I might fly in...

cooldude Bill it was nice meeting  and getting to know you. I'm glad you met up with Jeff = ChrisJ; Jeff = Flsix and I for Dinner after the Transportation Museum adventure. The dinner at Bemers was enjoyable. Your 03 Lady is looking nice too. Looking forward to InZane 19 and we'll see you there!   coolsmiley

Why the KTM?

You forgot to mention that Mosa and Dragbars were on a scooter, since Dragbars blew his motor on the Drag Dyno!!

Of course we have photographic evidence.

No, for me InZane is a social event with very little riding...no riding after getting to the event...and I had a blast!

I'm proud to call you my friend Dennis. Ross and I had a great time riding to Inzane this year, despite my GPS sending us in circles at times. Only thing that would have made it better is if you had been with us! The ride to Morgantown was great!
