  Happy July 4th. I had an early morning start for a 250 mile ride this morning. All back roads in S. AL and northwest FL. Excellent choice of direction starting west so the rising sun was not an issue. Stopped for a breakfast in Monroeville, AL. Then north, east and south. Tadah'  back home by 2 pm. I couldn't get anyone to go so I was solo.

Some of the most relaxing rides are solo.....not thinking about anything just the wind.....Most of my riding os solo these days....I used to have a regular riding buddy , he rides an Ultra Classic HD. Told him in '14 to take off two weeks and go on a ride with me....we wound up on the left coast and he has only ridden with me one time since....guess the Phat girl and the miles she can travel without pain was too much for him to take come to think of it he doesnt even keep in touch anymore. I have to call him these days.......life goes on......hell I thought we had a great trip.

Got a late start out of the house this morning.....looked at the radar and said nope. Good choice.
