Choosing new throttle cables - price differences

Honda Direct Line Parts carries Barnett throttle cables for $46 each for the "push" and "pull" cables. They also carry Motion Pro cables for $30 each. Does anybody know whether the less expensive Motion Pro cables are just as reliable as the Barnett cables? If not, then what is it that makes the Barnett cables worth more money? They are both stainless steel with clear coating. Would appreciate comments from anyone having experience with these cables.

Bought a SET of Barnett Stainless Steel Throttle cables (push & pull-set code 17810SC/17811SC) from http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ for $83.95 in August.  

No shipping and no tax (bought a K&N AF as well).  The cables seem to be about an inch longer than the OEMs but work fine.

I'm in Florida and find Hal's prices slightly more expensive on some things than some out-of-state locations, especially when considering tax and shipping.

I just found www.hondapartsnation.com ($140) which had the exact same OEM parts list as I had at HDL ($180) but were $40 cheaper than HDL.  In addition, only $18 shipping v. $32 with HDL, but they are in MI and charge tax if you are also in MI.

I've had Motion Pro cables on my 1100 Shadow ACE Tourer.  The clear protective coating turned brown due to sun damage.  I read in a recent m/c magazine that has a real mechanic writing their tech section to use sunblock on the clear coating to keep this from happening.  I've also talked with Valk owners that use Barnett cables who said they haven't had that problem.  If I were you, I'd pony up the extra coin for the Barnetts.
