Modified Harbor Freight Tire Changer

About 3 years ago I picked up a "HF" car Tire Changer and modified it for Motorcycle Rims using a 13" trailer rim(inner side up) as a grippy and stable mounting surface for the bike rims. I removed the upper portion of the tire changer above the round plate and inserted a 3/4" threaded rod coupler nut into the opening with gorilla tape wrapped around it until it was snug and used several self tapping screws to secure it:
I then drilled holes in the round plate to line up with the stud holes in the trailer rim and used a 3" ABS Pipe Coupling as a spacer between the plate and rim and bolted it all together. The small self tapping screws you see top and bottom were used to center the coupling:
I use a 3/4" threaded rod with another coupling nut and the rubber donut and large washer shown to secure the bike rim against the trailer rim which has a rubber laundry hose split down the middle and siliconed to the trailer rim acting as the grippy surface as well as bike rim protection:

I don't have pictures but Jerry (Bigwulf) of TN built his own version and it fits into a 2" receiver hitch on the back of a cage. We used it the last time I swapped Auston Taxi Tires on my fat lady, it worked like a charm.
I love innovative ideas.
Thanks for posting yours.

This one is bolted down with flush drop-in anchors so when the tire changer is stored or not in use the fasteners are flush and not in the way as a tripping hazard. You want the changer some distance from walls for your tire iron:
