So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

It’s complicated: Watch a Bugatti Veyron get a $21,000 oil change.  Shocked
Proof that life isn’t all roses for Veyron owners

https://www.autoblog.com/2018/07/19/watch-bugatti-veyron-21-000-oil-change/

Goes to the old saying, if you have to ask how much, you can't  afford it!

Makes a Valkyrie oil change look disgustingly simple and inexpensive regardless of what brand oil you choose.  2funny

Pretty sure everyone here has owned a car they would like back. Mine was a 1967 Sunbeam Tiger with the Factory Ford 260 4 Speed with close ratio road gears. You had to feather the clutch a bit from stop as first gear was very tall, hence...this was no dragster off the line...first gear was good for about 55MPH. Top speed was about 140...scary as hell at that speed, just ask me how I know!
Anyway, shortly after I married I sold the car because it had to be stored as we had no room for it... It needed engine work with at least 1 blown head gasket pumping air into the cooling system. The body, interior and soft top were in excellent condition as the car was not suitable for winter driving here in the great white north...so...zero rust anywhere. I sold that car in 1974 for $1400!!!
Examples of that car today in the original condition that mine was in, go for around 80 to 100 grand, and more today :'(
This Video shows a car that is identical to mine right down to the color and steel wheels...although the soft top on mine fit much better than this one.(and mine had both rear view mirrors). At timestamp 1:53 you can see a small logo about 10" behind the front wheel. That was a Chrysler Pentastar Badge. Chrysler bought the Roots Auto Company and continued to manufacture the car with its Ford Engine!! as their 273 would not fit.

The Tigers were awesome

Those rear rotors on the Bugatti were about 10k a piece fyi. A rear brake job could cost you 30k.

They make lifts that go low enough to go under the car but the shield that covers the whole bottom of the car needs to be taken off and you cannot take it off while on the lift.

7th_son; I had a '65 tiger. I built the motor so 65 in 1st was redline. 160 was top end. Changing the oil filter was tricky but not worth $21,000.

Then there was that big rubber plug under the carpet on the firewall to make changing the rear left spark plug possible. And of course, here in Alberta the heat generated by the engine was not as big a problem as I am sure it was in California. I did have the front suspension sub frame re-enforced as proper wheel alignment was not possible without that mod.

And there's me thinking changing the air filter on a Wing is a major PITA.    Shocked

I've always liked the Tiger, another one of Ken Miles creations. Wish I'd owned one. Had a 65 Cobra but never a Tiger.

I'd like to have a Bugatti, but, not a Veyron.  My grandfather had a Bugatti Gran Prix for a while when I was a kid, but, he sold it.

ANY vehicle that is such a large pain in the keester to maintain and cost THAT effin much to maintain will NOT under any circumstances make my short list.  Roll Eyes Had to put a starter in my x bil Chevy S-10 4 banger. Intial inspection looked like ample room for this change out. Much like the alt on our Valkyrie's there is ONLY one way out and one way in.  Told my x bil that Chevy ever needs another starter find a decent mechanic-as I will NOT do that again.  2funny All the stuff removed on that Bugati puts me in mind of when I worked on Airplanes in the U S Navy. RIDE SAFE.

I'm fairly confident that anyone that can swing the $1,800,000 base price of the car can swing the $21,000 oil change without breaking a sweat, and most likely won't be doing it themselves.
