Gas tank question

Are Valkyrie S/T/I gas tanks single or double wall tanks?
Anybody have any experience in pushing or pulling a dent on a tank?

They are all single walled. 

I don't have experience with pulling a dent on a Valk tank but I know you don't want to try to use air pressure to pop the dent out.  Other parts of the tank will pop out before the dent will...TRUST ME...been there...done that...ruined a tank doing it.

I haven't tried it myself [dry ice]. Maybe it's worth a shot though. If it really works I don't imagine it will do anything for creases if there are any in your dent.

The Tanks are relative strong and resist pulling the dents. The last one I had a hand in pulling actually broke the weld on some of the pins welded to the tank to pull with. That left a hole that had to be welded and  leaked checked. So be sure pin welds are well done and pull with caution, better a filled dent than a hole in the tank. The dent was about 4 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep on the front curve, where it really resisted being pulled out. A side dent would pull somewhat easier. Thanks Pete.

When I dropped my tank, we used a Ding King to remove 80% of the damage.

I have used Dent Wizard Co, on my Truck and 911 Carrera, paintless dent removal they have the tools to push from the inside.I have had good luck with the same tech for years. cheaper than repaint. and so far 3 times did not crack the paint when repaired.
