Power point for hidden antenna

Hi all,

I have gone "Super Valk" on my 2000 I/S and have bought a hidden antenna that needs a switched power point. Where is the best place to hook it up?

The accessory plug under the right side cover is a switched power connection.  Fuse is also under the right side cover.

Thanks, thats what I thought, ws just seeing if there was any other place that might be better. Will use it.

Don't know if it is possible with the Valk radio or if all of these style antennas do it but some that I have seen power up and down as the radio is turned on or off.

How about some more info on your hidden antenna??? Considering a SV mod this winter..... care to share your project tips.
Will it be in the back of the bike, you could tap off rear running light.

I should clarify...It is a amplified hidden antenna.....  small box on the end of the antenna cable, got it from AntennaX on ebay, $24. Needs 12v power to boost the signal. Will take pictures and post once I get it mounted. This way I won't need the stock antenna at all, wether the trunk is on or not. There are others that are to be mounted on the fairing, but I try this first.
