You know, not for nothing, but I wish guys who decide to give up riding wouldn't just give their Valks away to be done with them.  It sets a bad precedent/example.

I'm not selling mine, but I'd still like them to be worth something (because I know they are).

For the record that is exactly how I got mine, my former business partner was done riding it and he literally gave it to me.  I paid to have it shipped to NY form CA but he paid at least this much having it serviced so that it would run like a top when I got it!
Sadly it is only a tourer and really wish it was an interstate,  I'm about to spend about a grand just to add a trunk parts and paint will be at least this much.  At the end of the day it's still not an Interstate but my bike is a 98' with only 4300 miles on it of which I'm closing in on 1000 miles since I got it a couple of months ago maybe 3.5 months at this point.  Yes I know this is not a lot of miles but considering it only got 3600 miles in 20 years 1000 in a few months seems like a lot!
If someone would like to give me a trunk I would really appreciate it :)
Remember it's better to give them receive.

I have a newly painted black IS trunk I will sell.  Comes complete with the fender struts you need and mounting brackets modified for quick removal.  Some assembly required as I removed all the hardware before painting.  PM or email me if interested.

(Note:  It is not the small trunk in the pic below.)
