For those who use Chrome as their browser, if you noticed the look changed drastically in the last few days (Or it will in the next few days if it hasn't yet), if you don't like the look and want to revert it, here's how:

In the address bar type in (Like you're going to a website): chrome://flags

The first option should be "UI Layout for browser's top chrome", change that to "Normal", then click the big blue "Relaunch Now" button at the bottom, and the look should be reverted to the way it looked last week...

Well I just signed on to Chrome and sure enough, there it was....the new layout....and I don't like it. So I followed your instructions and it worked. The "UI layout for browsers top chrome" wasn't at the top, was maybe 1/3 of the way down. They already had changed how my Gmail looks which I don't like, wish they had left that alone as well but I didn't get a call from them asking my opinion so I'll just live with that.  Wink

They changed my gmail several weeks ago.  Saw where I could change in back and did so.  Not hard.

Haven't seen any real change in browser.  But then only sign into email account.

If you go to the chrome://flags page, and then at the top of the page (Not the top of the browser, but the top of the page) type in "UI" does anything show up?

Should look sort of like this:

The first choice is:

Override software rendering list

Overrides the built-in software rendering list and enables GPU-acceleration on unsupported system configurations. – Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android

#ignore-gpu-blacklist

What version of Chrome are you running? On the chrome://flags page in the upper right there's a number, I'm running 69.0.3497.100

I was on my work computer when I tried the fix earlier.  I'm not at work now, so can't check.  However, I'm now on my laptop and the fix didn't work on it either.  The laptop is not a touch screen.  This number is at the top of the page:  69.0.3497.100
