My leathers on the ride today. Left bout 2 P M-1400 HRS-local and it was about 98% solid overcast but ONLY 62 Degrees F. My thermometer on the handle bars Never got over 63 Degrees F. U S 60 W to Mountain Grove and wally wurld to top up the gasoline supply and down Mo. 95 South to Mo. 14 East and on to Mo. 181 South thru Dora and instead of staying on Mo. 181 I went straight onto County H South to U S 160 East on into wally wurld at West Plains to top up before heading home on U S 63 North. Near on 125 miles today and just the other day shorts and a light weight short sleeve shirt and flip flops were to danged warm!  :2funny: AND I kept the leather on the entire ride. Well it IS Sep 9 after all!  I KNOW Phatt Ghurl enjoyed the cooler temps and the higher humidity-Absofrikkinlutely no/none/nada/zero acceleration lag at all. She were in fact actin like a Brand New M/C-Not one over 19 years old and over a 130000 miles on her!  :smitten: And while the Valkyrie Grin NEVER left since I am riding less it has due to today increased in size!  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.

Nice ride report Dennis.  It rained off and on all day here.

I got out Saturday for more than a hundred. Hip (left) stopped me from riding more. It will be replaced in November if all goes well.
At least I got some riding in. Have two Valks in the garage waiting for work. One is actually a winter project.

Know what you mean, temps here suddenly dropped below normal.  Highs in the upper 60's expected.   It has been in the upper 80's plus for the last several weeks. Before that in the 90's.

Didn't get in much riding during August due to heavy smoke, way too many fires around us.  I'll need to get my chaps out and ready to go for early morning rides from now on.  Winter is coming.

Sounds nice!
Went for a ride today here in south Mississippi and it is still Summer.
(Well, actually the temperature has moderated..... a bit.)
From Bay Saint Louis on the coast, up 75 miles to Hattiesburg to an informal get-together of the Recycled Motorcycle club.... meets at 9 AM on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Honda shop in Hattiesburg.
It was warm but humid at 7:30 AM as I left the house, and by the time we got to Hattiesburg it was very warm. After swapping stories for a whiile then eating lunch, on  the trip back I was wishing I did NOT have the windshield and fairing that are on the Valkyrie Interstate.....Hot all the way.... in the 90's.

But, like others said.... Fall and the 'W' are coming... for us, the pleasant Fall riding season is on it's way, and usually gets here in October or so.
